Weaver Orange Bishop -  Euplectes orix franciscana
Distribution in the wild:     Senegal to Sudan, Cameroon, Ziare, Uganda & Kenya.
Diet:  Seed must include canary seed, mixed millet & maw seed.

Green-singing Finch -  Serinus mozambicus
Distribution in the wild:     Central Africa
Diet:   Mainly seed-eaters with plenty of green food but during the breeding season
         insects, clopped mealworms & ants eggs will be appreciated.

Red-billed or Common Firefinch -  Lagonosticta senegala
Distribution in the wild:     Africa south of the Sahara
Diet:  Panican millet, millet sprays. Ears of grass, ants eggs, mealworms &
         insectivorous  food as supplements.

Gouldian Finch - Chloebia gouldiae
Nesting:       Lays 4 - 7 white eggs
Incubation:  15-16 days by both parents, fed by both parents.
Fledge        24-26 days.

Bronze-winged Mannikin -  Spermestes cucullata
Distribution in the wild:       Africa
Diet:   Foreign finch seed and green food. When raising youngsters cut up
         mealworms, ants eggs & soaked stale bread is appreciated.

Black-cheeked Waxbill - Estrilda erythronotos
Distribution in the wild:       South & East Africa
Diet:   Foreign finch seed & seeding grasses in season together with small
         Insects.
